The format was Team Sealed Deck: 1 double starter + 8 limited boosters + 5 Proteus boosters (3 of them "stripped", i.e. without rares) + 4 Classic boosters per team of two players, to build 4 decks from. Each team played 4 games versus each opponent team (not switching opponent players). Scoring was "team GMP": 4 game points, 1 match point. We played 4 rounds Swiss format, using the 3-judges system. Prizes were donated by Wizards of the Coast (thanks, Jennifer!). Final result: TRC Tag GMP gam mat AP 1. Roland Schediwy 65.5B.42 Holger Janssen 1A.37.01 14.5 11.5 3.0 117- 68 2. The deck construction took about 90 minutes, and some teams would have liked to have even more time. There's much more that you can think about, compared to normal sealed deck. It might be even better to let the two players of one team play the same side as their first games. That would allow to switch opponents between games and reduce the a priori information about the second game opponent's deck (because everything his partner had can't be in his deck and vice versa, so you are prepared when your opponent's partner has not played tag & bag in his corp game, and you are more reckless when your partner was bagged...). The next tournament of Karlsruhe City Grid will be in July 2000. Don't miss the tournaments in Schweinfurt (June 25th) and Konstanz/Ueberlingen (July 8th)!
