On last Saturday (99/01/09) Karlsruhe City Grid, Germany, staged its  fourth official NR 
tourney. The turnout was quite respectable for the  holiday season, with 6 guests from 
other cities (2 even from the  Netherlands!) and 4 players from Karlsruhe. The format was 
"Weefle  Highlander Constructed" (no multiple cards, no rares), 4 rounds Swiss  system 
(pairing 1-2, 3-4, ...), scoring by GMP, tiebreaker opponents'  GMP total. Prizes were 
financed by the entry fees.

Most corp decks were pure fast advancement, some with a little tag &  bag (about three 
runners were toasted). The runner decks usually  relied on multiple access, only very few 
on virii (HQ attack). 

The next tournament of Karlsruhe City Grid is scheduled for February  13th, 12:00 high 
noon, at the PTV-Haus, Stumpfstrasse 1, Karlsruhe. 
The format will be Highlander Constructed (no multiple cards), the  entry fee DM 5.
